The papers document O’Brennan’s Irish activities and his life in Chicago through correspondence and documents, manuscript copies of his speeches, printed pamphlets and copies of newspapers (both the Connaught Patriot and the Irish News), and ephemera-like advertisements, prospectuses, membership cards and printed lecture tickets.

Her materials include drafts of short stories, papers pertaining to an unpublished "as-told-to" memoir of retired police detective Ed Carmody called "Chicago Cop," and diaries spanning 1972 to 1999.
Trumbull Family Papers

The collection gives candid insight into the lives of the young Trumbull sisters while studying music in Vienna through their letters home to Chicago. The most sizeable contribution of correspondence comes from prolific letter-writer Florence Trumbull, who wrote regularly to her sisters and mother, Mary Elizabeth Foster Trumbull, over the course of five decades.
