Typed letters (carbon copies) of Robert H. Middleton in reply to autograph letters signed, chiefly by Hilary D.C. Pepler, Edward M. Catich, and others. Letters relate to an exhibition of Eric Gill's prints at the Newberry Library, February 1949, sponsored jointly by the Library and the Society of Typographic Arts.
