They clearly show sailing and steam vessels both inside and outside of the breakwater; the Illinois Central tracks, trains and station; several boat concessions for trips to Lincoln Park and to the upcoming Columbia Exposition in Jackson Park; and industrial use toward the mouth of the river; 7 prints, ca. 1890
